PORT TOWNSEND — The Bella Barca, a 51-foot wooden house barge built in the 1970s, was launched with the tide at 1 a.m. Thursday at the Port Townsend Boat Haven marina. It was the culmination of more than three years’ worth of work led by project manager Seb Eggert of Rain Shadow Woodworks and the Port Townsend Marine Trades community.
