The North Olympic Library System will host fly-tying demonstrations by Rod Erickson.

There will be a demonstration from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 16 at the Forks Library, 171 S. Forks Ave., Forks.

A second demonstration will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 18 at the Clallam Bay Library, 16990 Highway 112, Clallam Bay.

Erickson will demonstrate how to tie flies for salmon fishing and provide a supply list for those interested in tying their own flies.

According to a press release, Erickson is a local expert who has been tying fishing flies for more than 50 years.

The demonstrations were postponed in February due to snow and adverse road conditions.
