Port Angeles car dealer Dan Wilder has been reappointed to the Peninsula College Board of Trustees by Gov. Gary Locke.

The state Senate has confirmed the reappointment.

This is Wilder’s second five-year term on the five-member board. It expires Sept. 30, 2007. He is the current chairman of the board.

Wilder is president of Wilder Auto Center in Port Angeles.

“I met Dan over 20 years ago, while I was on my first campaign,” said Sen. Jim Hargrove, D-Hoquiam, who represents Wilder in the 24th Legislative District. “He’s a well-respected businessman and has worked hard for his community.”
