The motorcyclist involved in a Chimacum crash Tuesday morning has died.

Joshua S. Jones, 26, of Kingston was pronounced dead at 3:34 p.m. Wednesday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, a nursing supervisor said.

Jones, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was airlifted to the hospital for head, hip and chest injuries, a hospital spokeswoman said previously.

Jones was flown to the hospital after his motorcycle slammed into the side of a 1992 Toyota pickup truck driven by Karen S. Page, of 1065 Egg & I Road, Chimacum.

Page, 43, was not injured.

At the time of the crash, Jones was pulling out of her driveway.
