Port Angeles: Valley Creek Estuary park to be dedicated Saturday

PORT ANGELES — During a ceremony Saturday the city will be gifted a new park — the Valley Creek Estuary.

Members of Soroptomist International of Port Angeles will bestow the 2.6-acre estuary to city officials after the recent completion of the six-year project.

The public is invited to the 11 a.m. dedication ceremony, at the estuary, located on Front Street along the Port Angeles waterfront.
