First walls of the Northwest Maritime Center go up

Carlsborg-based Primo Construction’s work on the Northwest Maritime Center project in Port Townsend goes vertical in the photo for the first time since site and foundation work began this summer.

The 26,000-square-foot, $12.6 million project expected to to be completed in summer 2009 will house the programs for the Northwest Maritime Center and Wooden Boat Foundation, and include classrooms, conference space, boat building shops and a chandlery.
