Somebody won $211 million Powerball jackpot — but not here

A Powerball lottery ticket sold in New Jersey for Saturday night’s game matched all six numbers drawn, which were:

6-16-20-31-36 Powerball: 8

The player matching all five numbers and the Powerball won the $211.7 million jackpot.

Washington state joined the multi-state Powerball lottery in January. It’s similar to another multi-state game, Mega Millions, which in the past has climbed to more than $300 million in its cumulative jackpot.
