It’s official — new Port Townsend ferry is christened

COUPEVILLE — Gov. Chris Gregoire smashes a bottle of bubbly over the railing of the MV Chetzemoka, the new Port Townsend-Whidbey Island ferry boat, today as her husband, Mike, watches.

The ferry then made its first official crossing of Admiralty Inlet to Port Townsend with the governor and other state and local dignitaries aboard.
