Fire destroys unoccupied mobile home

PORT ANGELES — A fire destroyed a vacant mobile home this morning in the Gales Addition area east of the city.

The fire at 2129 E. Fifth Ave. was reported to Clallam County Fire District No. 2 at 4:42 a.m.

The district responded with two fire engines, two tenders and other equipment.
