Two-lane bypass to be paved Tuesday night

GARDINER — Work crews will begin paving a two-lane bypass near Discovery Bay at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The bypass will allow construction of a new bridge on U.S. Highway 101 over Contractors Creek near milepost 278, according to a state Department of Transportation press release.

Drivers can expect single-lane, alternating traffic between 8 tonight and 5 a.m. Wednesday and from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.
