ALL LEAGUE FOOTBALL: Sequim, PA put four players on Olympic League first teams

PORT ANGELES — Sequim’s Aiden Gockerell and Ayden Holland were joined by Port Angeles’ Blake Sohlberg and Jason Hawes in making All Olympic League first-team in football.

Gockerell, who had a number of 100-yard games rushing for the Wolves, made the team as a running back, while Sohlberg, the Roughriders’ leading receiver, made it as a wide receiver. Ayden Holland is an offensive lineman.

Gockerell also made the defensive first team as a defensive back. Hawes, who led the Roughriders in tackles, made first defensive team as a linebacker.

Making the second team offense was Port Angeles running back Kason Albaugh and offensive linemen Tanner Flores and Conner Martin.

Making the second team defense was Port Angeles defensive lineman Tom Arand and linebacker Landyn Jones.

The league most valuable player was North Kitsap wide receiver Logan Sloman, who helped lead the Vikings to the league championship. Olympic quarterback Justin Kelley was the offensive MVP while North Kitsap’s Sofian Hammou was the defensive MVP.
