ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Adrian Brown, Sequim track and field

Adrian Brown has quietly put together a dominant season in track and field this spring.
Brown specializes in the hurdles but will also run sprints and relays.
He has won the 110-meter hurdles seven this times this season, winning the Olympic League championship earlier this month. This past weekend, he won the 2A West-Central District 3 championship with a personal-record time of 15.67 seconds.
Brown has also won the 300-meter hurdles five times this season, winning the Olympic League championship and finishing second at the 2A WCD 3 meet. His 300 hurdles time at the WCD 3 meet of 40.67 is the fourth-fastest 2A time in the state in this event.
Brown also has four other first-place finishes this season in sprints and relays.
Look for Brown and a number of his Sequim teammates to make a lot of noise at the state track and field meet at Mount Tahoma High School this weekend.
