America’s Boating Club of North Olympic Peninsula to conduct boating course

PORT ANGELES — America’s Boating Club of the North Olympic Peninsula will conduct a boating course from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Port Angeles Yacht Club, 1305 Marine Drive.

The free course qualifies students for a Washington state boater’s card.

The card costs $10 and is required to operate a vessel with a 15-horsepower or larger engine in Washington waters.
