Multicultural concert Thursday

PORT TOWNSEND — Japanese sound artist and master percussionist Tatsuya Nakatani and Port Townsend experimental dance artist Iván-Daniel Espinosa will present “Sonic Soma,” an immersive concert performance on Thursday.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. for the performance from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Cotton Building, 607 Water St.
“Nakatani will create a live soundscape to accompany a dance piece in the style of Japanese Butoh,” Espinosa promised.
