EYE ON JEFFERSON: County to hear about public works projects

The three Jefferson County commissioners will hear a briefing on public works projects from Monte Reinders and Eric Kuzma when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

The commissioners also will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Allison Berry, health officer for Jefferson and Clallam counties; an update on the Mill Road affordable housing project; and a presentation requesting a loan guarantee for the Fort Worden Public Development Authority from David Timmons.

Items on the consent agenda include an agreement for the Oil City Road engineering assessment and a lease amendment for office space in the Brinnon Community Center.

Association of counties

The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when they meet at noon Monday.

Both Clallam and Jefferson counties will participate.
