EYE ON JEFFERSON: County to review COVID-19 emergency response

The three Jefferson County commissioners will discuss the county’s COVID-19 emergency response policy when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

The commissioners will also discuss the establishment of a telecommuting policy and update the county personnel administration manual.

Items on the consent agenda include the 2021 burn ban, a grant for public defense, funding for indigent defense, partial reimbursement for the COVID-19 vaccination program and a recommendation for the forgivable loan of $150,000 to the Fort Worden Public Development Authority.

Association of counties

The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when they meet at noon Monday.

Both Clallam and Jefferson counties will participate.

Port Townsend schools

The Port Townsend School Board will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

The meeting will be in the district board room at 1610 Blaine St.
