Port Angeles boutique takes home edg3 prize

PORT ORCHARD — Port Angeles boutique Amma’s Umma won the Community edg3 Award in Kitsap Bank’s annual edg3 small business competition.

The $5,000 prize is awarded to the business that the judges feel best embodies the spirit of community.

Campfire Coffee of Tacoma won the $25,000 Grand Prize and the $5,000 Public Favorite Award.

The $10,000 Innovation Award was won by Sylling’s Elderberry, of Port Orchard and Poulsbo.

The other five finalists — Aquagga Inc., University Place; Camp N Car, Port Townsend; Five12 Apparel, Sumner; Street Eats Bremerton, Bremerton; and Unity Skate Shop, Port Orchard — will each receive a $1,000 award.
