Berry resourceful couple in Port Angeles

Blackberry season around the Peninsula yields a fine crop ready to be picked, if you can get to them amidst their prickly vines.

Kayla Ayers and her husband, Nick, use a ladder to reach as high as 12 feet to pick blackberries on South I St. near 9th Street.

But there are even higher berries that are still out of reach for this resourceful couple, who live just a few blocks away.
