FEMA summer camp applications open

BOTHELL — Region 10 of the Federal Emergency Management Agency will host its second summer preparedness class July 26-31, 2020.

The six-day, five-night annual camp will be conducted near Anchorage, Alaska.

The agency will select 40 teens from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska to attend the all-expenses-paid camp.

Attendees will learn skills that could save lives in their homes and communities during a disaster.

Applications can be downloaded from www.fema.gov/YouthPrep and must be submitted before midnight Sunday, Jan. 19.
