PORT TOWNSEND — Bob Gray, Port Townsend City Council member and vice president of Dog Recreation on the Peninsula, cuts the ribbon at the Port Townsend Dog Park,which has been operating on a soft opening for about three weeks. Mayor Deborah Stinson stands to his left after she gave a welcoming and opening speech about how it took years to finally get the park open and that she’s glad it has finally come to fruition. The dog park, a 1-acre site that fronts Blaine Street, is open from dawn until dusk every day.
