PORT ANGELES — Jefferson County Quilts of Valor travelled to Port Angeles to present quilts to seven veterans employed at the Veterans Administration clinic on Aug. 15.

Quilts were presented to Tracy Delacruz, U.S. Navy; Adam Garcia, U.S. Army; Warren Husman, U.S. Navy; William Jeffrey, U.S. Navy; Edward Leu, U.S. Army; Chris Ruley, U.S. Navy; and Michael Stout, U.S. Coast Guard.

According to a press release, 10 of the clinic’s 28 employees are veterans.

The quilts were made by members of Jefferson County Quilts of Valor, which is a registered group of the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
