Soroptimist International of Port Angeles offers an endowment for nursing students

PORT ANGELES — Soroptimist International of Port Angeles in partnership with the Peninsula College Foundation has announced the endowment of the Soroptimist International of Port Angeles Nursing Scholarship.
The annual scholarship will only be available to students in the nursing program at Peninsula College.
According to a press release, this endowment has been largely funded by a bequest from the family of former Soroptimist member Helen Mangan.
The remainder of the $30,000 endowment was funded by contributions by other club members.
