Port Townsend graduate finishes Air Force basic training

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The U.S. Air Force has announced that Airman Jaden A. Steinfort-Mayo has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

Basic military training is an eight-week program that includes training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Steinfort-Mayo is the son of Jennifer M. and stepson of Clinton P. Mayo of Port Hadlock.

He is a 2018 graduate of Port Townsend High School.
