PORT ANGELES — The city of Port Angeles is seeking applicants to fill two vacancies on the city planning commission.

The commission meets at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month to review and make recommendations to the City Council on land development actions.

Planning commissioners are appointed for four-year terms.

Applications can be picked up from the city manager’s office, 321 E. Fifth St., or downloaded from www.tinyurl.com/PDN-PA-Planning.

Completed applications must be submitted by Feb. 8 to be considered.

PORT ANGELES — First Federal recently announced the hiring of Karen Lewis as marketing director.

According to a press release, Lewis was previously a senior marketing manager for retail lending at BMO Harris Bank.

Motorcyclists meeting set for Saturday

SEQUIM — The Christian Motorcyclists Association will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The association meets at the Mariner Cafe, 609 W. Washington St.
