PHOTO: Delays on Hurricane Ridge Road

Motorists line up on Mount Angeles Road near the turnoff to Hurricane Ridge Road on Tuesday as a flagger controls traffic near the Olympic National Park Visitor Center.

Construction work on Hurricane Ridge Road has triggered delays of up to 20 minutes while crews rehabilitate the parkway from Mount Angeles Road to the Heart o’ the Hills entrance station with pilot cars guiding motorists through construction zones.

The $6.9 million project is expected to be finished in September.
