Land Trust picnic reservations due Monday

PORT ANGELES — Reservations for the North Olympic Land Trust’s fifth annual Land Trust Family Picnic are due by Monday.
The picnic will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. July 29.

The dixieland jazz band The Dukes of Dabob will perform during the event at 1454 S. Bagley Creek Road.
Attendees can partake in “Walk & Talk” tours of a conserved property with Land Trust staff and-or “Walk & Don’t Talk” contemplative nature walks led by writer and poet Syren Nagakyrie.
A main dish will be provided, and participants are requested to bring a side dish or dessert.
Event organizers request that dishes be labeled with respective ingredients.
Those interested are encouraged to bring a favorite beverage and a friend.
