Sequim man identified after fall from cliff

PORT ANGELES — Police have identified the man who fell down a bluff in west Port Angeles as Paul Martin, 31, of Sequim.

Martin was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Monday afternoon after he told police he fell off the cliff the day before.

Cpl. Clay Rife of the Port Angeles Police Department said no new information was available about the circumstances surrounding the fall.

Martin was in satisfactory condition Tuesday, according to Harborview.

The U.S. Coast Guard said in a news release Monday that Martin had multiple broken bones.
