EYE ON JEFFERSON: Several Port Townsend committees plan meetings this week

Although the Port Townsend City Council does not meet this week, several city committees are scheduled.

Committee meetings are in conference rooms at City Hall, 250 Madison St., unless otherwise indicated.

They are:

■ Arts Commission — 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, first-floor conference room.

■ Council Information & Technology Committee — 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, third-floor conference room.

■ City Council Community Development and Land Use Committee — 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, council chambers, 540 Water St.

■ Non-Motorized Transportation Advisory Board — 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, first-floor conference room.

Council office hours, during which members of the public can discuss any topic with a member of the City Council, take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the mayor’s office at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.

Jefferson Healthcare

Jefferson Healthcare hospital commissioners will hear an emergency and special services update when they meet Wednesday.

The meeting will be at 3:30 p.m. in the Jefferson Healthcare Conference Room, Suite 302, on the third floor at 2500 W. Sims Way.

Port Ludlow Village Council

The Port Ludlow Village Council will hear a report from its ad hoc committee on tree harvesting when it meets Thursday.

The council will meet at 3 p.m. at the Beach Club, 121 Marina View Drive.

The council also will hear reports from the Jefferson County Department of Community Development and Port Ludlow Associates, as well as the elections committee.

County commissioners

The three Jefferson County commissioners are not meeting this week.
