EYE ON BUSINESS: This week’s meetings in Sequim, PT, Forks and Port Angeles

Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly ­luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.

This Monday’s program will be a forum with Jefferson County commissioner candidates Kathleen Kler, Democrat, and Dan Toepper, who states no party preference.

The meeting sponsor will be Healing Elements of Port Ludlow.

Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings normally are held at 11:45 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at noon at Sunland Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim.

However, there will be no luncheon meeting this week because of the Business Showcase, a networking event, to be held at Sunland from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. (See poster, at right)

Forks Chamber of Commerce — ­Luncheon meetings are Wednesdays at noon at JT’s Sweet Stuffs, 80 N. Forks Ave.

This Wednesday’s meeting will feature a program on United Way of Clallam County.

Lunch costs $8; a bowl of soup, $4.75; and a cup of soup, $4. The entree is taco salad.

Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 ­DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.

This Tuesday’s meeting will feature Marc Jackson, the new superintendent of the Port Angeles School District.

There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
