Free financial planning seminar in Sequim today

SEQUIM — “Financial Planning Seminar: Smart Tax & Legacy Planning Strategies” will be held today at the Dungeness River Audubon Center at Railroad Bridge Park, 2151 W. Hendrickson Road.
There will be two sessions; one at 4 p.m. and one at 6 p.m.
The seminars are free and open to the public.
Port Angeles attorney Steve Moriarty will discuss estate planning strategies for the needs of family members, for charitable giving goals and for minimizing taxes.
This ninth semi-annual financial planning seminar is intended to help those attending to better understand wills, trusts, community property agreements, durable powers of attorney and health care directives.
Seating is limited. The 6 p.m. session has more availability.
