WEEKEND: Sequim gala to raise funds for cancer center Saturday night

SEQUIM — The 2014 Harvest of Hope Wine & Dinner Gala — a fundraiser for Olympic Medical Cancer Center — will be held Saturday evening.
The gala will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails at SunLand Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive.
Dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m.
Tickets are $125.

The fundraiser is presented by the Olympic Medical Center Foundation in conjunction with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
Proceeds from the gala will go to services, programs and equipment.
The gala’s theme is “La Dolce Vida” — the sweet life.
The evening will pair food by Sweet Beginning Cafe chef Kathryn Kitts with award-winning wines from Olympic Cellars.
Live auction items will include a safari trip for two to South Africa, a week in Montana on the Yaak River, a trip for two to New York City and two meals a month for 12 months at the Oak Table Cafe in Sequim and Chestnut Cottage in Port Angeles.
