SEQUIM — Tickets are on sale for the 2014 Harvest of Hope Wine & Dinner Gala this coming Saturday.

The 12th annual gala, a fundraiser presented by Olympic Medical Center Foundation in conjunction with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, will raise funds to aid cancer patients being treated at Olympic Medical Cancer Center in Sequim.

Proceeds from the gala will go to services, programs and equipment.

It will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at SunLand Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive.

Cocktails will open the event, and dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets are $125.

The theme will be “La Dolce Vida” — the sweet life — and the evening will pair gastronomical delights from Sweet Beginning Cafe chef Kathryn Kitts with award-winning wines from Olympic Cellars.

During the meal, attendees can buy raffle tickets and live auction items.

Live auction items include a safari trip for two to South Africa, a week in Montana on the Yaak River, a trip for two to New York City and two meals a month for 12 months at Oak Table Cafe in Sequim and Chestnut Cottage in Port Angeles.

Also, a variety of “instant” wine cellars, brew lessons and dinner at Barhop Brewing in Port Angeles and a one-week vacation in a one-bedroom condo in Los Cabos, Mexico.

More than 200 people attended the 2013 gala, “An Evening in Chile,” which brought in close to $80,000.
