SHINE — A Port Orchard woman was injured Saturday evening in a two-car collision west of the Hood Canal Bridge.

Pamela S. Hagwell, 68, was taken to Jefferson Healthcare hospital’s emergency room after the collision at about 5:04 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of state Highway 104 and South Point Road, according to the State Patrol.

According to the report, Clyde P. Paulus, 62, of Sequim, was driving a blue 1998 Chevrolet Astro Van eastbound on Highway 104 approaching South Point Road.

Hagwell, driving a silver 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue, was westbound the turn lane to South Point. The Oldsmobile collided with the van in the highway’s eastbound lane.

Paulus and a passenger were unhurt, according to the report.

The eastbound lane was blocked for about an hour. Both vehicles were towed away.
