Robert and Sali Capelle have opened Peninsula Produce at 290 W. Washington St. in Sequim.

SEQUIM — A new produce market, Peninsula Produce, has opened in Sequim.

Located at 290 W. Washington St., Peninsula Produce also offers cedar roots for landscaping and tie-dyed T-shirts.

The market is owned by Robert and Sali Capelle.

Port Angeles winery wins

PORT ANGELES — Olympic Cellars has won gold medals in two recent competitions.

Judges at the Women’s International Wine Competition awarded the cellar’s 2012 red wines the following medals:

■ Zinfandel: double gold medal

■ Dungeness Red, Lemberger: gold medal

■ Cabernet sauvignon: silver medal

■ Syrah: silver medal

Judges at the Denver International Wine Competition awarded Olympic Cellars the following:

■ Zinfandel: gold medal

■ Dungeness Red, Lemberger: gold medal

■ Mt. Olympus Red: gold medal

■ Cabernet sauvignon: silver medal

■ Syrah: bronze medal
