BUSINESS BRIEF — Port Townsend bookshops merge, plan celebration Saturday

PORT TOWNSEND — The Writers’ Workshoppe has recently purchased Imprint Books, and they have merged into one store at 820 Water St.

To celebrate, a grand opening will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Champagne and stories will be shared at the remodeled space, which will be known as Writers’ Workshoppe and Imprint Books.

Attendees can enter a drawing to win a $100 storewide gift certificate.

The drawing is at 7 p.m., and participants need not be present to win.
