FORKS — Forks City Council will hold a special meeting at 3 p.m. today at Forks City Hall, 500 E. Division St., for a Public Records and Open Public Meetings Act training session.

No votes will be taken during the meeting.

Fire District No. 2 plans special meeting today

PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Fire District No. 2 Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. today, 102 E. Fifth St., to finalize the purchase of a new ambulance and to approve invoices associated with the purchase.

Port Angeles School Board schedules meet for March 11

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles School Board will hold a special meeting at the Central Services Building, 216 E. Fourth St., from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11.

The board will immediately recess into executive session to review applications for the position of superintendent of schools.

It is uncertain whether the board will hold a vote following the executive session.
