EDITOR’S NOTE: “Today” and “tonight” refer to Friday, July 19; Saturday is July 20; Sunday is July 21.

SEQUIM — “You Belong in Sequim,” “What You Can Do with Lavender!” and comedy tributes to “Monty Python” and Mel Brooks — these are some of the highlights of the “SNL Encore” show at the Sequim High School Performing Arts Center, 601 N. Sequim Ave., tonight and Saturday.

For Lavender Weekend

In this Lavender Weekend show, the SNL — Senior Night Live — crew is reuniting.

Sequim High alumni from 2012, 2010 and even 2006 are pooling their talents with current members of the school’s Operetta Club.

The band of performers will do comedy sketches from “MADtv,” Abbott and Costello, and the like, as well as pay tribute to Brooks and the “Monty Python” movies.

In honor of the town and the season, the SNL cast cooked up the “You Belong in Sequim” song, a parody of Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me,” as well as the brand-new “What You Can Do With Lavender!” to the tune of Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger.”

Curtain times

Curtain times are 7 p.m. both tonight and Saturday plus the 2 p.m. matinee Saturday.

Tickets will be $5 at the door.

Robin Hall, director of numerous shows at Sequim High, including this spring’s “Footloose,” is at the helm of this one, too, with a cast including James Willis, Danny Hall, Joey Hall, Rachel Chumley Ivie, Anne and Kathryn Lorentzen, Sarah Stoffer, Sydney Negus, Ben Heintz, Emmanuel Herrera, Patrick Carpenter, Brenden “Rocky” Carpenter, Nick Fazio, Bailey Bryan, Christie Honore and Victoria Hall.

Proceeds from the three performances will benefit the Sequim High School Operetta Club, and more details about it are at www.SHSoperetta.org.
