Peninsula graduates receive diplomas

Graduating seniors at Port Townsend, Chimacum, Neah Bay and Forks received their diplomas this weekend.

McCurdy Pavilion at Fort Worden State Park was the site of Port Townsend High School’s ceremony for 92 graduates Friday night and Chimacum High School’s ceremony Saturday afternoon for 84 graduates.

All 20 seniors in Neah Bay High School’s Class of 2013 were awarded diplomas in a ceremony Saturday afternoon in the school gymnasium.

Forks High School’s ceremony for 65 graduates was set for 6 p.m. Saturday. A photograph from that ceremony is planned for Monday’s Peninsula Daily News.

The Quileute Tribal School ceremony for three students was Wednesday at the A-ka-lat Center in LaPush.

Ceremonies scheduled this week on the North Olympic Peninsula are:

■ Lincoln High School — 6 p.m. Thursday, Peninsula College Little Theater, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles; 12 graduates.

■ Sequim High School — 6 p.m. Friday, Sequim High stadium, 601 N. Sequim Ave.; estimated 199 graduates.

■ Port Angeles High School — 8 p.m. Friday, PAHS gymnasium, 304 E. Park Ave.; between 190 and 195 graduates.

■ Clallam Bay High School — 2 p.m. Saturday, Clallam Bay High gymnasium, 16933 state Highway 112; 12 graduates.

■ Quilcene High School and Crossroads Community School — 2 p.m. Saturday, Quilcene High gymnasium, 294715 U.S. Highway 101; 15 graduates.

■ Peninsula College — 2 p.m. Saturday, school gymnasium, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.; 571 associate degrees and professional certificates to be awarded.

■ Crescent High School — 3 p.m. Saturday, school gymnasium, 50350 state Highway 112; 17 graduates and two foreign-exchange students.
