WEEKEND: Days of wine and chocolate to continue
Published 12:01 am Friday, February 15, 2013
The annual Red Wine & Chocolate Tour continues through Presidents Day weekend, Saturday through Monday.
Eight wineries on the North Olympic Peninsula are presenting pairings of wine and chocolate from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in the tour that began last weekend.
A $30 ticket buys a commemorative wineglass, complimentary wine-tasting and samples of chocolate.
Tickets may be purchased at participating wineries during the event, but they are not required.
A $5 wine-tasting fee will be charged at each winery for non-ticketed visitors, all of whom must be 21 or older.
Participants who visit all eight of the wineries are entered into a drawing for a wine-themed gift basket.
