MAIL-IN BALLOTS will arrive at auditors offices by the tens of thousands today and Thursday, with most counties doing new vote counts on Friday.
The governor’s race and same-sex marriage hang in the balance, but voters in Washington state (and Colorado) made history by legalizing recreational use of marijuana — setting up a showdown with the federal government, which outlaws the drug. (See separate story on this).
Many other races have already been decided.
