PORT LUDLOW — A major fundraiser for Chimacum High School students is set for Friday and Saturday.

The Port Ludlow Artists’ League’s seventh annual Silent Art Auction will offer original oil, watercolor and pastel paintings, prints, photographs, pottery, gourds, textiles, jewelry, baskets of art supplies, tuition for local art classes and greeting cards created by local artists.

Everything has been donated by league members, and would-be shoppers can see the good on Facebook once they search for the Port Ludlow Artists’ League there.

The auction itself will be laid out at the Bay Club, 120 Spinnaker Road.

Bidding starts when the silent auction opens at noon Friday, and continues

till 7 p.m.

On Saturday, the auction will be open from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m.

Winning bidders will be notified by telephone and can pick up their items at the Bay Club through 4 p.m. Saturday.

Refreshments will be served during the auction.

With community support for auctions through the years, the league has been able to provide more than $15,000 in college scholarships to 18 local students.
