PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College President Tom Keegan is one of five finalists for the presidential post at Tallahassee Community College.

The college’s search committee selected the five finalists from 10 semifinalists during a Monday meeting and the Board of Trustees approved the list at its board meeting that day, according to a news release from the college.

Keegan was on flying to Florida today for his interview.

The other finalists include:

• Randall Hanna, managing shareholder and chairman, Bryant Miller & Olive Attorneys at Law, Orlando, Fla.

• Jeanne Jacobs, president, Homestead Campus, Miami Dade College, Fla.

• Jim Murdaugh, assistant vice president, Tallahassee Community College.

• Patricia Rowell, western campus president, Cuyahoga Community College, Ohio.

Last year, Keegan was one of two finalists for a St. Petersburg, Fla., community college presidency. Ironically, he lost out to the Tallahassee president.
