YMCA withdraws pool management proposal

PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Family YMCA board voted today to withdraw its proposal to manage the William Shore Memorial Pool.

The YMCA had been negotiating a management contract with the pool district for about three months.

Board President Laurel Black said the move is in response to a contract disagreement and opposition from the metropolitan park district’s advisory committee.
