Olympic Discovery Trail east of Rayonier property in Port Angeles reopened

PORT ANGELES — City crews today completed clearing a mudslide and reopened the Olympic Discovery Trail east of the site of the former Rayonier pulp mill.

Up to 100 cubic yards slid onto the paved trail overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca on Tuesday. The location was at about Mile Marker 3 of the trail, also known in Port Angeles as the Waterfront Trail.
