PORT ANGELES — A Port Angeles woman was not hurt when the Ford F150 truck she was driving crashed into a ditch along Deer Park Road on Wednesday.

Monica Clum was driving southbound when she veered across the roadway and hit the embankment on the northbound side, Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputy Mel Kempf said.

The pickup overturned and came to a rest in the northbound ditch.

Clum, who was traveling alone, was taken to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles as a precaution, Kempf said.

“She wasn’t complaining of injuries,” he said.

The wreck occurred about two miles south of U.S. Highway 101, east of Port Angeles.

Deputies ordered a toxicology report, Kempf said.

No charges were filed Wednesday.
