Average price of gas in state: $2.32

BELLEVUE — The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gas in Washington is $2.32.

That’s up 17 cents in the past month and it’s 27 cents higher than the national average. But it’s $1.23 lower than a year ago.

The AAA found the most expensive gas in Bellingham at $2.35 and the least expensive in Spokane at $2.26.

Some other cities in today’s AAA survey: Seattle-Bellevue-Everett $2.32, Bremerton $2.30, Tacoma $2.29, Olympia $2.32, Vancouver $2.27, Yakima $2.31, Tri-Cities $2.32.
