PORT ANGELES — Celtic sounds evoking thoughts of Ireland and Scotland will waft across City Pier tonight for this week’s installment of the Concert on the Pier summer series.

BOWI, a four-member, Seattle-based band, is noted for its blend of traditional Celtic music and energy.

The BOWI sound encompasses a wide range of music including driving jigs and reels along with traditional vocals and ballads.

Bring your dancing shoes — or a lawn chair to sit on if you want to just tap your toes.

BOWI, which makes a return engagement to Port Angeles after playing at last fall’s Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival, will perform tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Admission is free. All ages are welcome.
