‘Swamp Rock’ from Louisiana tonight in free concert

PORT ANGELES — Sounds of Louisiana will swing the Port Angeles City Pier tonight as fiddler Kelly Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, La., and band Etouffee perform a free concert starting at 6 p.m.

Thibodeaux combines Cajun sounds, rhythm and blues and Southern rock styles into what he calls “Swamp Rock.”

Bring your dancing shoes — or a lawn chair to sit on if you want to just tap your toes.

Thibodeaux and Etouffee will perform from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Port Angeles City Pier.

Admission is free. All ages are welcome.
