Clallam health board raises fees for shots, food safety

PORT ANGELES – Clallam County Board of Health members approved fee increases Tuesday for things ranging from vaccinations to food safety permits.

Fees charged by the public health and environmental health divisions – which had not been increased since 2002 – will go into effect on May 25.

Charges for vaccinations with state-supplied vaccine will rise from $5 to $10 for administrative fees and from $15 to $20 for an office visit.

Vaccinations with vaccine purchased privately also will rise from $15 to $20, with an added minimum $10 handling and administration fee.
