Feiro Marine Life Center admission costs to rise

Admission fees for the Arthur Feiro Marine Life Center’s 2005 season will increase next week under an ordinance approved by the Port Angeles City Council.

Adult admission will increase from $2.50 to $3. Admission for people age 55 and older will increase from $1 to $2.

Admission for children will remain $1, but the age for children to be admitted for free will lower from 5 years old to 3.

The first $15,000 from admission fees collected is retained by the city. Amounts more than $15,000 are retained by Peninsula College. Amounts surpassing $20,000 are split evenly between the city and college.
